COVID-19 Service Update - 13 Jan 2021
Following the latest Government announcements, CES is classed as an essential retailer and our store will remain open, where it is safe to do so, keeping you supplied with the products you need.
The safety measures we have in place across all of our stores mean you can continue to shop with us, safely. Alternatively, to avoid travelling you can place your order online at CES-Hire.com and have it delivered directly to your door.
We recognise, due to exceptionally high demand, our delivery times have been longer than usual and that a small number of products may not be available, but please be reassured that we are doing all that we can to provide you with the product you need as quickly as possible.

Face coverings
Wearing a face covering is mandatory in our store to protect our colleagues and customers. We understand that some individuals may be exempt from wearing face coverings due to health reasons, and we are respectful of this.
When collecting your order, there may be cases where a colleague could ask you to briefly remove your mask for identity purposes.
We ask all customers to please adhere to these requirements when visiting your local store and respect our colleagues at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
Product Availability Update
Many global supply chains have seen large-scale disruption, and we are working closely with our suppliers to bring you the products you need the most. We’re sorry that we have limited product availability at this time. We are working hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.
Our current product range and stock availability are accurate and up to date on our website.
CES Click & Collect Service
We provide a Click & Collect service with safe contactless collection in-store. These measures protect both our colleagues and customers, and we ask all customers to kindly respect these safety measures when collecting orders from the store.
How it works:
- Shop on CES-Hire.com and select your items for Click & Collect.
- Click & Collect is available for collection today or collection within 48 hours.
- Collecting today means your item is one of 2,000 we keep in our stores.
- Collect within 48 hours is where the other 5,000 of our products are kept in our distribution centre; therefore, your product should be available for collection within 48 hours.
- Please wait for your SMS to confirm your order is ready to collect in-store.
- Collect-today orders, you will receive your SMS the same day of placing your order.
- Our store is open 8 am-4:30 pm Mon-Sat.
FAQ's
Can I have items for collection and delivery in the same order?
Not at present, we can only offer collection or delivery on the same order. But you are welcome to place separate orders if you want both collection and delivery items.
I'm going to collect my order from store, what do I need to bring with me?
When collecting your items, depending on your method of payment, along with your order number, you will need to bring the following:
Debit/Credit Card Payment
The payment card you used to purchase your items (for security purposes, we will need to verify your card on collection).
Paypal
If using PayPal, you must bring photo ID, such as a Driving Licence or Passport (the name on the ID must match the name details in the payments section of the order).
When I visit the store to collect my order, where do I go?
If you need to visit our store to collect your item, you must respect the strict Social Distancing measures we’ve put in place for the safety of both our customers and colleagues. Please do not come to our store unless you have received an SMS to let you know your item is ready, also check below to see our opening time before travelling.
What happens if I don’t collect my order from store or I no longer want it?
If you don’t collect your order from store, after 21 days the items will be automatically put back to stock, after this time or if at any time you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible to either arrange a new order for collection or a full refund.
I want to cancel my Click & Collect Order?
To cancel your Click & Collect order and obtain a refund, please go to the Contact Us Form and ask to “Cancel Click and Collect Order”, as soon as the refund has been processed, you will be sent a refund confirmation via email
If you need to swap an item
Returns & Exchanges FAQ's
You can return Items bought from CES Hire Ltd. within 14 days of receipt of shipment in most cases. During this period, you can try the product and examine it just like you would when you buy something in a physical store. The product must be in the same condition you received it and undamaged. You are allowed to take the product out of its packaging unless the packaging is sealed.
If you decide to return an item, please let us know by filling out the returns form below. You may also inform us if you want to return an item by emailing returns@ces-hire.com. Please note that you must return the items within 7 days of notifying us.
The following types of items cannot be returned:
- Products that have been custom-made according to specifications provided by the buyer, such as Custom Hoses
- Products that cannot be returned after opening them for hygienic reasons, such as PPE
- Items must be unused and with all the packaging and labelling intact.
- Sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned.
It’s highly unusual that we ship the wrong item, but it can happen. If this is the case, just call us, and we will get you the correct product as quickly as possible.

Yes, as long as it has not already been dispatched, you will receive a full refund.
Yes, please either contact us to place a pre-order, or use the button “Email me when this product is in stock” on the product page and you will be emailed as soon as we have stock.
