The Regal & Barnes Finishing Spatula, with its blue handle, is the perfect tool for creating a flawless layer when applying basecoat or adhesive in render or external wall insulation systems. It is compatible with plaster, render, and cement, making it versatile for various applications. The spatula features an ergonomic plastic handle, ensuring comfort even during extended periods of use. Its high-quality stainless steel blade is lightweight and flexible, allowing users to achieve a smooth and flat finish effortlessly. You can choose from three different sizes: 480mm, 580mm, and 680mm.
When using the Finishing Spatula, start by flattening the adhesive before finishing with a trowel. Apply the adhesive to the substrate using a notched trowel or plastering tool. Once the adhesive is applied, use the Finishing Spatula to level out the materials. To prevent any dragging of materials, make sure the edge of the spatula is slightly damp. Start at the edges and use long, smooth swiping motions to level out the product. After each use, ensure that the Finishing Spatula is clean and dry, and store it in a sheltered space.
