Fibreglass Pink Rendering Mesh 1m x 50m is a pink render mesh is made of a fibreglass material with a latex alkaline resistant coating. This coating prevents the chemicals present in cement, screed, plaster or renders from degrading the fibreglass retaining the meshes strength. With coverage of 50m² and a weight of 160g/m². Render mesh can be used on a number of construction materials including: Cement, Screed, Render and Plaster. Used to reinforce the material. Apply an even coat between 1 to 1.6 mm thick with a smooth trowel. Place the mesh onto the wet base coat and gently press the mesh into the base coat with the trowel. After the base coat has hardened apply a second coat again between 1 to 1.6 mm thick. Overlap of mesh should be at least 50 mm.

Mesh can also be used to reinforce angles and reveals. Made from neatly woven fibreglass thread, widely used in plastering and rendering for wall reinforcement, external wall insulation and roof waterproofing. Offering alkali-resistant properties help prevent the mesh being broken down by the chemicals within the other mortars or adhesive material.
