The Rokamat replacement sponge float 350mm is designed to fit the Rokamat plaster finishing machine. The Rokamat finishing machine is ideal for quickly and easily rubbing up plaster and render. Ultimately, you achieve a smooth and even finish in a fraction of the time compared to hand finishing. The Rokamat replacement sponge is easy to attach with a simple Velcro fastening. They measure 35mm (diameter) and are available in fine or coarse sponges.
The sponge floats can be used to open up the surface of renders and gypsum plasters before final finishing, blending in trowel marks, and helping remove air pockets. The coarse grain sponge leaves a medium finish and can be used for longer periods in between rinsing than finer sponges.
